Russia leads the way at Guadalajara Rhythmic World Challenge Cup

Russia’s Rhythmic gymnasts took home all but one title from last weekend’s World Challenge Cup in Guadalajara (ESP). Polina Khonina and Ekaterina Selezneva won the gold medals in the individual competitions, while the Russia Group prevailed in the All-around and the final with three Balls and two Ropes. Only Japan’s victory in the final with five Hoops averted a Russian clean sweep.

Brazil and Russia shine at Osijek World Challenge Cup

It was a successful weekend for Brazil and Russia at the second FIG World Challenge Cup event of the season in Osijek (CRO), where gymnasts from thirteen different countries overall picked up medals. With three golds and five medals in total Brazil topped the overall medal table at the close of play on Sunday, while Russia’s gymnasts collected a total of seven medals, two of them gold.
