FIG visits Montreal - Host city of the 2017 Artistic Worlds

Representatives of the International Gymnastics Federation's (FIG) Sport Department carried out an inspection visit to Montreal (CAN) from February 10 - 13, 2015. The visit was scheduled following the FIG Executive Committee’s (EC) decision to provisionally allocate the 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships to the Canadian city. In their meeting on February 25 - 26, the EC confirmed the definitive attribution of the event to the Canadian Gymnastics Federation and the City of Montreal.
