Gymnastics for All Workshop
Jakarta (INA), April 2 – 5, 2012

LAUSANNE (SUI), FIG Office, April 16, 2012: The Indonesian Gymnastics Association began promoting Gymnastics for All only recently, and as one of the organisation’s actions, a four-day workshop was conducted from April 2 – 5 in Jakarta.

Workshop expert Mr. Tatsuo Araki (JPN), Vice President of the FIG Gymnastics for All Committee, welcomed 78 participants who hailed from all Indonesian provinces.

Most were sport teachers in public schools and expressed great enthusiasm and joy during the workshop. Elementary school children from Jakarta took part in the programme, which was supported by the Indonesian federation and the country’s Ministry of Education, which also includes Gymnastics in the national education programme.
