The FIG head office is at about 6 minutes from the train station by walk.
By train:
Easy, if you are arriving at either Geneva or Zurich Airport you have the train station inside the airport.
For the Airports of Basel and Bern the path to the buses which will take you to the train station is clearly signposted and the bus ride to the train station is only a short trip away.
For the train timetable you can check on line with the link www.sbb.ch this service is also available in French German Italian and English .
Geneva
The trip from Geneva takes about 45 mins.
Zurich
Please note that depending on your hour of departure from Zurich you might have to change trains in Biel/Bienne to get to Lausanne

Basel
The trip from Basel is about 2 hours and 30 minutes (depending on which train is taken change at Bienne/Biel).
